I hardly can get out of bed or go to the doctors && when I do it’s like a waste of time . I’m young but I have a lot going on head to toe nobody has belief that somebody like me has pain or can’t leave the house for the facts of my bad anxiety n etc... it’s so exhausting. Exposing going here there for no answers . My health is so bad what can I do to get someone to understand instead of thing I’m “crazy” it’s just this I’m always sick !!

Unfortunately doctors have become tick box led. Patient tells them a symptom or symptoms and they only have so many boxes and if you don't fit those, they give up. I'm under the impression when I've seen a GP that they guess, there doesn't seem to be a lot of science behind their thinking. My dogs vet is a different matter! Far more science based.

OnLy things I can suggest are anything that helps a little, use it. If you use 4 things that relieve pain by 10% each you're bound to feel a bit better.

I use: soluble paracetamol with caffeine.

Hot bath with Epsom salts, or magnesium spray rubbed into skin, then hot bath.

Electric blanket on bed and another on sofa. Hot water bottles.

A tens machine ( mines a 2 channel, 4 pad model, only £20 on Amazon)

A gel called Perskindol, only available online I think particularly good for neck and shoulder pain.

Salonpas patches.

Gentle stretching. Keep moving, even if you can just manage to walk around the house every half hour or even every hour. I found not moving because I was in pain made the pain worse. Forcing myself to move was the best thing I did, even though it hurt more initially. Don't over do it, little and often is better than one massive walk that exhausts you.

Distraction. Audio books, movies, reading, knitting, colouring, puzzles, anything that absorbs you for a short while will help.

I’d rather see a vet 😂

I’m so sorry you are going through this, hope it improves soon. A lot of us know just how you feel, it’s rough 💗

You can get salonpas patches from Boots, but they are expensive, I get mine from Amazon, the patches are small but other than that exactly the same, I think I pay £20 for 140 patches, they're very good!

Salonpas are available in small quantity at Boots but very expensive. I bought mine from Amazon about £24 for 144 patches.

Sorry Horsesgalore , didn't see your reply.

Have you been to a pain clinic? Sometimes they have psychologists attached to them who you can talk to. I've only discovered this recently. St Thomas's in London is one. St. Helier is another.

No, they’re all natural so can’t conflict or add to any meds taken orally. I seem to be allergic to everything under the sun but get on well with Salonpas. Perskindol gel is good too, again no drug content.

Oops. I must read more carefully.
