)Ave been reading posts for people with fibromyalgia and it does seem pretty dire. Have had to cancel two appointments at the CFS Clinic in Bristol due to recurring infections. One thing that bewilders me is the chronic fratigue, weak legs (which Drs.have. Said can be due to infections) - non stop - and it does seem to me that there is very little to help us. I also have ET but I' e reached the point where everything overwhelmes me. I make lists which are endless, am utterly exhausted and totally "lost" it last week. My GPs response was go into a nursing home. BRain fog is a huge problem. I live alone, live ina 2/12 storey HBUT what is affecting me badly is the Isolarion. I see no one from one day to the next, apart from my helper. I am virtually an invalid despite trying to accept it. As other posters have written they wish they could die. At times I too feel like that but I mentioned it to the Mental Health Team and immediately was told she has the authorisation to section me""" T here is virtually nonsupport here other than to prescribe antidepressants which I cannot tolerate nor accept that is the answer. I have no quality of life (Like a lot of posters). It surely can't be asking too much for neighbours to be supportive. I feel invisible, lost and fairly hopeless. I lost my ex-husband in October and realise Inam grieving still but that is something we have to endure. I am hoping to move closer to my daughters but can't sell my house. Sorry everyone, doom and gloom. JUst feel overwhelmed right now.

Hi there, when we feel like this we need to share our feelings, I too have cfs with my fibro and the fatigue can be relentless at times. Will be better when your house is sold, can you talk to the estate agents and ask for ideas to help with the selling of your property, not always easy I know with selling as have been there , losing someone is sad and takes us time to grieve and October is fairly recent for you. Have you spoke to your daughters?? I think they would want to know how you are feeling right now to support you, don’t hold back tell them exactly how you feel, we love our children unconditionally even when they are grown up but I would like to think that they can give back some time, love ,support, as your mum is the best friend you will ever have. healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., if you would like to lock your posts Mary here is a link as only our community can see. I do think with these reoccurring infections must also be making you feel low, is the doctor treating you for these ?? . I am guessing this might be your 1st post here, I do find chatting to people with fibro and also Cfs on the forum has really helped me, we totally understand the daily struggles , I didn’t feel so alone when I joined a couple of years ago , there’s normally someone to listen and have a chat with. Take care xx

I have cancelled more appts. because of the fibro fatigue, an infection, etc. Fibro kicks the heck out of you...hang on to your soul, your goodness. You don’t have to explain to others who just don’t get it. But, get in front of GP and learn how to best communicate with him or her. If you can’t go on to the next Doc. You need help with pain and fatigue... you deserve to have your suffering heard and efforts made to comfort you. Best of Care!
