Hello awaiting to see a Rheumatologist scarred cause have had all the symptoms for about 8 yrs and gp just keeps giving me tablets.

i just want to no what if i have it, never get a strait answer

Hopefully the rheumatologist will be able to give you some answers - they are generally very good, and there's nothing to be scared about.

I would suggest before you go that you make a list of all your symptoms to give to the rheumatologist and take someone with you. It's easy to forget things once we're there, so a list is helpful and also someone with you who can listen to what the rheumatologist says, so you don't forget anything when you come out.

My rheumy saw me once, diagnosed me, gave me some leaflets and sent me back to my GP.

Make sure you take your symptom log and medication list with you.

Ask for a copy of the letter too so you know what the plan is going forward.
