Hello, Yes I get a lot of hand pain and have for a few years, but mine fibro arthritis as well. My GP sent me for an xray, which showed it, but its also worse when my fibro is worse! Can you ask you GP what he thinks?

My hands are one of the parts that I have daily issues with. I was so fortunate to be referred to a hand clinic and occupational therapy. I got compression gloves there which do help. I also have tried hot and cold plunges which don’t help. I am careful what I do but it still happens. I use gadgets for cutting, opening, peeling, I have strategies for washing and drying and dressing. It takes a long time to figure out what you can and can’t do but for a start I would recommend compression gloves. Oh my joints are clear so I know it’s tendon and muscle rather than arthritis

I have a condition in my hands called Arthralgia, it affect musclular part as well as joints, I have ISOTONER gloves which you can buy off ebay, dont buy from abroad on ebay as they aren,t as good.. I use voltarol gel like hand cream to relieve the pain and then put the gloves on.

Normal if you got real fibromyalgia

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hi there I can see you have had some helpful replies back from members, our hands properly get more use than any part of our bodies , yes I do find since having Fibro my grip is not so strong and have to stop more when ironing that kind of thing as aching a lot more, I do tend to keep my hands under the water at night when having an Epsom salts bath, and resting my hands at night good keeping warm with some gloves on. I do have a lady every 2nd week that does light massage on my hands and feet my little treat and comes to my house. I posted a link if you would like to lock your posts. Xx
