You can’t just stop taking tramadol when i was given morphine I had to be slowly weaned off tramadol. You could maybe do with speaking to your chemist.

Thanks, WENCHYB Felt a bit sick this morning and now have raging headache, could this be the patch? I have always taken anadin for a headache. Nor sure if I should do so?

I wouldn't be quick to think it is your 5mg patch as I've never had any side effects and I'm on 30g

Did your doctor give you a letter with an explanation? If not you need to speak to your GP.

It was my GP! He said nothing about dropping the Tramadol or the buprofin - just got to thinking!

I'm a bit confused (it doesn't take much)😁. Do you mean Butec or Ibuprofen. You can take Ibuprofen and Tramadol together. It depends on your GP whether or not you take Butec and Tramadol together, they can both have more than one use. Best to clarify with your doc.

Hello hound67

You should always check medications with your pharmacist or your GP about which medications you are prescribed and how yo take them. Community members can try to advise but in all honesty the information you need should be from your own healthcare professionals or if out of hours calling 111.

Hope this helps and your pain eases soon

Emma :)
