I am new to this site and am looking forward to being able to talk to other sufferers. I have had this for 15 years now. Feel so tired all the time. Pain all the time. Feel guilty for not being able to see family more and making excuses all the time. I try to tell people that everything is ok. Going to Cape rede in October, should be looking forward to it but I am dreading it. I know my husband likes me walk on beach but all I want to do is lay down and sleep. But can’t even do that without a pill.

Hi Cakeygirl and welcome to our friendly forum. Your story will resonate with many members who I am sure will be happy to chat and share their experiences. You have come the right place to receive lots of help and support. There is also plenty of useful information and links on our main site so you may like to check this out at some point:

We look forward to seeing you around. Take care. x

(P.S. I notice you haven’t locked your post. You don't have to but many of our members are not too keen on responding to unlocked ones therefore you are likely to receive more replies if you do, as it prevents the whole thread being read by internet search engines. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the link below but if you get stuck please don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Just like to say welcome. Yes holidays can be difficult as you feel you have to make an effort so as not to spoil it for others but by making that effort we can spoil it for ourselves. Look forward to your future posts.x
