Neuropathy pain

The dr. Prescribed me gabapentin release 600 milligrams I have to take 3 at dinner time im afraid to take that many because of the side affects I see up here but I know people side affects is not the same

The side effects listed on any medicine is to let you know the possible effects most commonly experienced. This is so when you experience a different symptom while taking the medicine you understand why. No one person in the medicine trial study had every symptom.

I take 4 300mg capsules 2 times daily and can increase that more if needed. I was so desperate to find some relief for my severe nerve pain that I didn’t care about side effects at the time I wanted to try it to see if it helped at all. I started out on 2 300mg twice daily and slowly increased. If you take them it will take 2-3weeks before you will feel the full effectiveness.

If you take them for a while be sure not to just stop them suddenly. You need to taper off of them check with your GP on how to do it correctly.

Hi. I take 1300mg of gabapentin 3 times a day along with a long list of otber meds. I started on a lower dose and had them increased slowly. Ive not suffered any side effects from the gabapentin. Good luck xxx

When I was given gabapentin by go I was told to start on low dose and work up to 3 at a time. Seems a bit drastic to go straight to 3 tablets at once.

I was put on that amount but to take split up to 3 times a day it dose sound very high I found it done nothing at all and was no good for me they then put me on pregabalin instead this worked loads better but makes you gain a lot of weight quickly well did me and had some bad side effects and wen I made my mind up to come of it was really bad with drawn I guess it different for every 1 hope it works for you if you see any 1 from pain clinic might be worth asking them or maybe try building up to that amount and see how you get on good luck with it all x
