Hi just a question how do you stop gp/physios from blaming everything on fm and get them to treat the problem you are asking about

Persevere... Don't be fobbed off... Possibly explain that you appreciate it may be fibro related but you would like any other possibilities to be looked into first and ruled out. Xxx

I find these people are the ones who know B**** all about fibro M.E and cfs I avoid 2 doctors at my practice for this reason, I had a specialist phsyio in the big city hospital where I used to work but since I retired the local hospital only has 1 senior member who knows about fibro

My Gp encourages patients with multiple symptoms to book a double appointment slot so you can address the problems you experience. Plus many GPs have advanced nurse practitioners who tend to be able to listen more.

Simple really get you doctors to make an appointment to see a rheumatologist then you will know if you MAY have fibromyalgia People who suffer from fibromyalgia are in serious pain , If you have other medical Issues You got to get your point over to the doctor ,I would of thought Fibromyalgia would of been bad enough , I have for serious conditions and it took years to get them all diagnosed and countless visits to the doctors and hospital As so far as as the treatment Iv received from The NHS it’s all been brilliant , but the amount of people we now have in country doctors are stressed to the max Doctors are not psychos they are just doing there jobs
