Do any of you lovely ladies get bad flare ups before or during your period? I'm just trying to find a pattern to my flare ups as this time I haven't been ill or stressed.

Always!! the week before is the worst for me but I always blamed my hypermobility (EDS) for that, as at that time of the month your collagen gets more lax (like during pregnancy)

Not sure if Fibro is influenced by hormones but I will be interested to see what others think.

Can't really answer that one regarding periods as had hysterectomy when I was 30, so can't blame it for my flares. I didn't take HRT either so who knows. My flares come when I have done too much or had an infection or some other illness. Hope you feel better soon.

OMG yes! always, now I am going through the menopause its really tough. I am hoping that HRT will help with symptoms......not luck so far.

Yes I do! Someone told me once that evening primrose oil can help with pms but I’ve never tried it...I wonder if it would help with the aches and pains too?
