Pharmacy at drs it’s s new thongs
Hi Dotpot This was started at my old surgery many years ago. I can only take one medication which I find helps me but is on the highly addictive list if abused unfortunately. So was concerned when I got a call to talk about my medication with this pharmacists. It ended up with me been put on an higher does and told to take it more often LOL I have to say I am still on it but reduced it down myself and only use it in an emergency. Hopefully it is just a check to see if your on the right dose etc xx

My husband used to get appointment with one at his old doctors. It was just to go over with him that he knew he was taking right dose at right time of day.Plus what he was taking them for was explained better than description in box
My pharmacist is ringing me tomorrow to discuss medication, just when I thought I had got it sorted out 🤔xx
I had my annual meds review this year with a pharmacist rather than a GP. Pharmacists are a lot more knowledgeable about meds than GP's. They went through all of my meds with me, checked for side effects and arranged for me to have blood tests. They even advised me to start to take a calcium supplement because I am on long term stomach protecting medication. I was pleased with the review.
