Hi valerienesbitt91

This community can discuss if they use them and any beneficial effects, however any information about the medication should come from your GP, Pharmacist, Medication Leaflet or reputable websites like this link on Patient UK;

patient.info/medicine/baclo...

I used to take this for my Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) often this condition can be alongside Fibro to help relax the muscles and it helped for a while then was prescribed Diazepam for severe contractions.

Hope other members who currently take it will comment and this might be of help too.

Emma :)

they probably have another name- ask the pharmacy what they are

Hi NG,

Baclofen is the medication and it may come under other brand names.

Hope you got your leaflets now :)

She did have relief from bad spasms it's an older med been around for years,she had ms and spasms all the time. I take gabapentin for my twitchy jumpy muscles it works for me but some people on the forum can't take it. Take care! Chris x

They’re anti spasmodic tablets. So if you’re prown to spasm, these relax the muscles. Sometimes it takes a while to get the dose right
