Appeal hun that's all you can do get CAB or a disability advisor to help you and bombard them with evidence. I feel your pain hunny I spent most of 2016 in appeal 9months got I in December got my letter in March telling me I was at review in May in March and lost it again in August so bk in appeal since then if I didn't have health problems before I would now and I'm sure you feel same when they say 2,3,4 or 5 years it should mean that n it should start from the day you win your appeal, not they day they made you start fighting xxxx sending love n hugs n as much support as I can throw in a message Hun go get em xxxxx

I’m so sorry you’ve had them taken off you. I think it would be helpful if you appealed but get support from cab.

Good luck with it and let us know how you get on. Please take care and love and hugs to you xxx

Hello please let me wish you a very warm welcome to the group. I am sorry you have lost your award. You did not say did they take away the whole of your award or give you a lower rate?

I have to be honest I also don't understand why they give you a date then stop awards before the date is up.

Sorry to hear your troubles - don’t give up - as you let them win as others have said get advice and support in fighting them :) hope you get it sorted

Thats awful its happening to many people, have you appealled? did your gp and hospital consultants confirm in writing (maybe to your gp- I get copies of what they send to my gp) I too have had "the brown envelope" several weeks ago now but no reply yet, mine isnt really due for another 11 months either- it all has to be backed up with as much correspondence of HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR DAILY LIFE and not what you suffer from. Try again hun, maybe get intouch with our Janet- go across to Pinned POsts and clik on "Iam claiming ESA/PIP? can u help? hopefully someone will advise on what to say and what not to say on your appeal.

I am really sorry to hear this has happened to you. I have sent off my review form in January and waiting for a response. Some good advice have been offered especially to appeal and gathering medical evidence to show how your illness affect your daily life. I truly hope you get it sorted and you get back what you have lost.xx

Hi and welcome

I am also in the same position, I have a year left and sent my review forms back in January now just waiting. They seem to be doing this to everyone at min. But don't give up that's what they hope you will do.

I hope you get it sorted. Please let us know how you get on.

Contact your local WELFARE RIGHTS TEAM and read the tips on BENEFITS AND WORK for making an appeal. Reading the posts on B&W will reassure you too

I think that where you still have so long left on your award Judge Mesher's ruling comes in - ie, when your PIP award is reviewed or changed for any reason, the DWP must look back at why they made the award in the first place and look at the evidence they used to make that award, including perhaps a more favourable assessment report or Tribunal decision. If they do decide to reduce or remove your award, then they must say why they have done this given the evidence that you used to be entitled to an award. And of course you can appeal any decision if the DWP does not do any of this.

Get advice from your local CAB or MP.
