Sick note 2018?

Hi just wondering if in work related group you have to send sick notes in its confusing some of the rules have cjanged

Thank you for your replay it mention a thing about whether or not to send sick notes in and didn't mention anything on the letter l was sent just said you have been put in work related activity group, well according to an freedom of information request l read up on the DWP are not advising people and waiting to the sick note runs out and then they stop your money

Hi... I'm sure in work group you have to send sick note.. In support group you don't.. But I think you should phone to check.. X

Hi yes I am in work related group I have never been asked for a sick note since been placed in that group.

I had to sent sick notes in while I was in the work group. I continued to send them in for a couple of months after I was put in the support group until they told me not to. I’d err on the side of caution to make sure you get your money. It also shows continued ill health and is more evidence to be put in the support group.

So what happens if you send a sick note late as you couldn't get a sick note as no to doctor appointment available ?

Haven't handed a sick not on put am going to how will Ridgecrest my payment if the sick notes not in on time

Basically l am worried now as l haven't handed a sick note in to DWP its going to be late handing it in ran out 2nd February will l still get paid?

Did you try calling DWP to speak to them directly ? I hope you have got it sorted out xx

All sorted but doesn't do very well for your heath not much money but better than nothing but its hard its not a life style choice for me its hard on anyone there's not enough information that's up to date there's so much charging they respect you to know everything but let so confusing it going to get worse when everything changes to universal credits there molding all the system to do with benefits in to one benefit now how confusing is that? Very!

If you don't know the rules how are people claiming going to know what there untitled to? Thank you for replaying it really good of you l do appreciate your help and everyone on the forum! So helpfully!

Yes l spent ages outside the doctors this morning waiting to get an appointment but l got a sick note handed it in she the DWP worker said the work related activity group you need sick notes for l rang them up to check and they said if you been put in ether group the DWP has said your unwell to work so no more sick notes
