Anyytips how to live with fibromyalgia please
We are all living with fibro in a different way- my main problem is muscle soreness and fatigue, you have to learn how to pace yourself, keep moving about dont sit around for long periods, try some therapies like aqua aerobics, hydrotherapy, keep off bikes and energetic climbing, I have my shopping delivered on line I found reaching up really hard, ask about seeing a specialist physio who will give you daily workout he/she might be able to introduce you to hydro..Many of us take different pain relief, I would avoid things like gabapentin and pregabalin-if you need pain relief try conventional first.. Try to get to see a Rheumatologist or a neurologist they can open more doors of help.. other than this stay with our group you will get lots of advise on coping..,.g ood luck hun..
thank you, means a lot that you got someone to talk to and that understand.
Hello 4poppy
Thanks for posting
Firstly I notice this is your first post and wondered if you may wish to lock it to the community as many members are reluctant to reply to unlocked posts as it can be read by anyone and be found by search engines. See the link below for more information;

You'll find lots of information around the community about how different members learn to live with Fibro, as we are all individuals it must be said that what works for one does not always work for another. So it can be a bit of trial and error to find what works for you!
