Hi all , quick question and a silly one. I have had fibro and ME. Plus so much more for over 8 years but lying in bed at night I forget I got anything wrong and I make plans like I'm fully abled. I think oh I'll di that tomorrow then remember if I tried doing that. I'd kill myself. Does anyone else forget how bad you are?

I forget occasionally and don’t you feel silly afterwards 😂. It’s wishful thinking 🤔☺️Xx

Hi Mistee I’m very much like you I have plans to go shopping and plans to clean the house and I have really vivid dreams that I’m able to walk and run again..... then I open my eyes and reality dawns. It’s nice while I’m in this semi utopia but I come down with a bang when reality hits home and I’m aching from head to toe and feel like I’ve run a marathon. 😢

Yep! Nothing stopping us from dreaming 😀

Anyone who hasnt got foggy brain (brain fog) with their fibro is very lucky, I have to keep a diary and a calender of everydays events, appts. posting dates (esp brown envelopes) shopping lists Ive even had to start a dossette box for meds as I went thru a time of not being able to remember if I,d took any, some of my pains dont go away so onloy when Tramadol started withdrawal did I know I,d forgot! dont feel alone many of us have this.

I was terrible for forgetting my pills and wether I had taken them or not so the doctor got the chemist to put them into a blister pack so now I rarely forget,

Afternoon your not alone but sometimes it s so positive to keep thinking that way , and yes some days we want to run that marathon in our minds , sometimes we tick some boxes but not all , I've learnt now that if I can take something's off my list of to do but not always complete I've achieved and better than nothing at all. I too have been diagnosed with m e and fibromaylia this year but had been going a few years , chatting and sharing tips on the forum with others I find very helpful. I'm sending you a link it normally generates more replies if your posts are locked and only open to our forum and not to the whole of the internet where anyone can read, members tend to feel alittle more privacy this way. Here's the link healthunlocked.com/fibromya... , keep the positivity going though that's good , I find a calendar and many note pads very handy xxxx

I’ll be honest I make plans and push myself to meet them and then I regret it the day after or a few days after that I still haven’t accepted I can say no !!

I do it all the time and then i wake up . But i agree with YASMINTINA I also think it's a positive way to look at things. At least your not laying in bed telling yourself you can't do things. Good for you ((hugs)) xx
