Has anybody’s hands become like this with fibromyalgia never had a problem before until recently

My younger sister has this problem-does it itch? she has been told she has Psoriatic arthritis and has the same problem on her feet. she has been given steroid creams.

Yes it does a bit I also got it on my feet I have tried moisturiser but haven’t helped one bit

If you google Psoriatic arthritis and look for pictures and read symptoms, if it ties up then ask GP to refer you to dermatologist, my sister had 8 months off work with it last year, I went with her to dermatologist and asked his opinion on treating the problem from within rather than on the surface, I asked him if it was stress related and is it in her blood stream, she is taking a course of steroids to see if that helps.

I have this on my face normally when I get stressed (have it now actually) mine is Impetigo - hope this helps xxx

It's unlikely to be fibro related. More likely as suggested psoriasis; excema; dermatitis or an allergic reaction to something you have used (change of soap; washing up liquid etc) xxx

Hi my mother used to get this,and found it would flare up when peeling spuds,she wears latex gloves now to prepare meals,And it has gone hope this helps..alan

When I got ME and Fibro I also got psoriasis.
