Actually I do try to ground myself on the grass outside as often as I can. I have read many articles that recommend it, and as they say - what can it hurt? It's free and it feels really nice on my bare feet

Totally agree. Not in Scotland at this time of year though. Being barefoot for the feeling is great but as to electrons and energy transfer well I think I expressed it well enough above.
