PIP Renewal

Hi all. Hope everyone is well. Id just like some advice as I'm going to the CAB tomorrow to discuss renewing and appealing my PIP as when I rang to renew the advisor suggested I appealed the decision. Id just like to know what to expect and whether or not to bring all my medical evidence etc. I'm very anxious about appealing because I am worried I will be rejected for any money. Thank you all.

Not too sure what it is your actally doing,appealing or renewing an already existing claim? ?

Renewing an existing claim but I’m requesting they look at everything as my condition has severely changed since my medical assessment 18 months ago.

Oh I see. So when they look at your claim again, is there a chance that you could lose out on the amount? ? Are you requesting that as your condition has deteriated you feel that you need a higher amount? As you say you're asking CAB to help you and you have evidence of the deteriation of your condition, surely they won't refuse to accept that. Keep your chin up,I understand that you would be worried about it, as they seem to put people through an ordeal. Keep us informed of the outcome.

Yeah. They could decide to give me none, less, the same or more and if they decide less I will have to ask for a reconsideration. Yeah I believe so and when I spoke to an advisor over the phone he said he believed I was entitled to more and should have appealed sooner. I hope not! Thank you very much. I will do.
