So I am not sure where to post this. Lately I've felt exhausted all day everyday. My limbs feel a "heaviness" in them all the time. Today and yesterday I feel too tired to even breath. Been wondering if I may have CFS. I've had fibromyalgia for a few years now. And I did have a fibro flare last week, just not sure what's going on with me? Every morning I'm exhausted even upon waking up. I do try to push through it, to no relief. Been tested for a sleep disorder, but nothing wrong there. I've even tried exercising but that makes it worse. Any suggestions?

Exhaustion?
Yes I get like this who'd of thought it would be painful and exhausting to even breath. That sypmtom has currently settled.but it comes and goes.
For me my FMS goes hand in hand with my CFS
Hello hun- sorry its late picking up your message- when you get this bad this is the time to present at A&E, we are not built to endure chronic pain, it is at this stage the medics will be able to see you at your worst( isnt it always the case that when you go for an appt there,s nothing bothering you and makes you look a fool) and they will be able to alleviate the pain and fatigue- ive only presented twice in 14 years but both times i ve been sorted out.
Same with me. Feels like I'm walking in mud.
Hi there , I am sorry your hurting so bad. I have been there with that many times it can be very scary when we find it hard to breath. I see you are from the US have you been able to speak to your primary care about these new problems ? I would advise if you feel this is getting too much for you and you can not get hold of your doctor then please go to your nearest ER and get them to check your breathing problems out for you.
It is always better to be safe. Not everything we feel is fibro or CFS it really is best to get it checked out. I do hope it eases up for you soon {{hugs}}

I suggest getting tested for Epstein Barr virus. If it's active in you that would at least give a reason for fatigue. I feel as you do but unfortunately there's no med for it....just rest and less stress. It may be the cause of CFS but it hasn't been researched. Someone recommended coconut oil capsules. I may try that. Dr. did prescribe generic Provigil, but it's not working like the original did. Maybe a person gets too used to it. I sometimes feel too used to Cymbalta and Norco too. Good luck and I hope you find a solution. M.A.
Hi krazy-girl. I'm walking in MUD! I'm soooo tired I'M GONNA SIT DOWN NOW AND NEVER GET UP AGAIN. I'm newly diagnosed with fibro. My GP, before retiring, gave me a prescription for a few weeks worth of 5 mg oxycodones for the pain. I am trying to find new GP but no success yet. Pain management would only give me Lyrica which I'm reluctant to try - heard too many bad things about it and its very expensive! Anyway, when the GP handed me the script, he said "this is to give you some relief"....and relief it did! I'm very responsive to drugs, so I only take half in the morning (2 1/2 mg) and it gets me going - by relieving the pain it gives me energy. IT ENERGIZED ME by RELIEVING MY PAIN! I was sooo tired I would say, "I'm gonna sit down now and NEVER get up again". Fatigue is very much a part of fibro because insomnia is also a piece of the puzzle, I am told. I'm in the US, and the commercial, "I used to be active......(Lyrica commercial) fits me perfectly. I try to keep as active as I can (sometimes, unfortunately leads to flair and I'm back to square one - having to recover.) The other half of the oxycodone (2 1/2 mg) I take before bed to relieve pain to try to sleep......the GP wouldn't give me a sleeping pill!
