Pain clinic

How do you get to go to the pain clinic? I have been diagnosed and abandoned. So much o need to know and do but I have been left completely clueless

Have you asked your GP for a referral? I have been under my local pain clinic for at least a year. They have been very helpful, going to do a course of mindfulness through them next. Hope you find the help you need x

My gp referred me too a couple of years bk. I'd say read online as much fibro info that you can, for armed is for warned etc an come on here the people really are a great bunch,and you can learn lots an chat to people who know exactly what your going through and how you feel.most of us wernt given much help,if any,so the more you know an learn the better. an you can ask lots on here welcome to the fibro family :0)

I got transferred from consultant while in hospital, but gp will transfer you too. Good luck xx

I rang my GP and asked to be referred.

You can get loads of great information on here and there is the wonder Dr Leon Chaitow Books - his fibro book is amazing

My neurologist said he would arrange everything but he obviously hasn't,

Go to ur GP and ask him to chase up the neurologist. When I go to my GP to chase a medical professional up he simply phones them direct for timescales. I must be proactive with my medical treatment or I'll get nowhere.
