Sweeteners
Hi
Not likely to be the cause however we are all advised to avoid them now
Even midwives tell mothers to avoid low sugar snacks and drinks for babies due to concerns .
Low fat items like yogurt has it in as well to give them flavour so better to go for full fat in moderation .
A lot of low fat and reduced fat products contain a lot, or far more than the recommended amount of added sugar / artificial sweetener. It's added to make the food more palatable and taste good. Its often no worse for you to opt for the product that's slightly higher in fat. Its quite interesting when you start comparing food labels . . . !
I do think fibro follows a trauma or other illness in life, bad sleeping habits (maybe changing shifts all the time) lets be honest our towns and cities are littered with night life now that many of us would never had been allowed to practice (I would have been locked out for the night)
I read this some time ago. Why not change your sweetener in your water with some crushed berries or maybe lemon or lime both lovely!
Healing blessings xx
If it's just mineral water it should be ok. However, watch the flavoured waters and fizzy flavoured waters! Why not try buying a large bottle of sparkling or plain mineral water, a plastic bottle (try somewhere like Wilko's) and add your own fruit to "infuse"? You could try things like a slice of orange, grapefruit and lime together or lemon and lime, strawberries and lime . . . Depends on what you like really. I do drink Diet Coke or Pepsi Max occasionally but I need to cut it out!
Aspartame is thought to be linked to many conditions. Ive not heard it being linked to fibro before though.
Does that mean the sweeteners you put in tea n coffee too
