Wanted to share PIP backdating experience

Hi all, well the amazing news is I got awarded enhanced for both DL and MOB after putting in my change of circumstances back in March this year I was hoping for backdating to when I told them of the change in March didn't get that, but I did get what looks like 3 months worth of back pay (they have awarded new rate from 8th June) MINUS what I was already getting when on standard mobility from my previous award rate (£22pw) I hope this helps anyone in a similar situation as it's a pretty grey area , I've asked this myself and seen the question pop up x

My cpn wrote to pip telling them my condition had got worse and my circumstances have changed i should be on the higher rate for mobility it's taken 7 wks just. to get the form to fill in !! I'm filling it in with my cpn next wk,I'm scared they might change my benefits but know my mobility has gotten much worse and I'm entitled to it but I know there trying to get genuine people of benefits,so its s worry :0/ we shall see how it go s its bad that you have to worry about money/benefits when your already dealing with being I'll and pain etc any advice welcome hope your all doing all right x

I’ve just won tribunal at pip for mobility dose it get back dated from the phone call I made to start the application
