Just make sure you explain anything you have difficulties with, it's how your disability affects you so if you can't bath on your own and need help with it then make sure you stress this with them, good luck and fingers crossed, let us know how you get on xx

Good luck. It'll be over soon! Do something nice for yourself afterwards. I take it a step at a time. Worry about the assessment today and leave everything else for another day! Fingers crossed for you. If I can give you one tip, listen carefully to the questions. They ask you the same thing a few different ways, at different times. Don't put a brave face on. Let them know how you really feel. Take care.

Hello how douounow you could be OK Youhave Fibromygia Yea so did you exsplain you cant walk , trouble going to theloo , cant prepare hot food, cantshower orget in the bath , , cant handle hot water , can't get in or out of bed Touble getting upstairs Can't drive , Have trouble working outmedication get confusedSo ifyou gotfibri you should have all these issues Comeback toiwillexspain more xxx

Hi I find it hard at times to communicate with other people and she kept goin on about how it effects me also she said if I had 100 pound and I went to the shop and spent 7 pound how much change to I get back find it hard also under standing things I just have that feeling I have failed also my other dis did not say owt either in the assesment

I had mine last week. My advice is stay strong with your answers. She asked questions and when i answered she questioned me like i was lying or exaggerating. She even changed my answer from 4 days to 3 when i told her how many bad days i have.

Please also have someone with you for support.

I felt the same, as though I had failed it. It doesn't help when you feel you are in a court room and that you feel your have to convince them that your sick. It's a horrible system and definitely needs reassessing.

I can't see it changing any time soon. It's doing exactly what it was designed for. I still know people who are cheating the system and getting away with it. Not many though. Sadly, I know more people like us. Honest and poorly and being made to fight for every penny. On top of feeling rubbish all the time! They want people off benefits and they don't care who. I've even read that 'Atos or whatever they're called now' only allow assessors to pass a certain amount of people per day. I don't think anything would shock me anymore!😟
