I don't know where to start. I work full time but it's a struggle now. I park illegally to be close to the door. In work and anywhere I have to attend. I've paid a lot of parking tickets for the council recently. I can't route plan at the moment. I have major problems walking at times. I've been unable to cook a meal for to years. Total difficulty with everything. It hurts to breath at times. I wake up between 5 and 20 times a night. That's been for the past 12 months. I'm frightened of loosing my job. I have people to support. I don't know if I can get any help because I work full time. I am just going to collapse. Thanks

I'm ignorent
Hi Bobby16
I am so sorry to hear of your pain.
Have you been to the Drs for a diagnosis?
Once you have a diagnosis you will in a better position to be able to sort things out.
You should talk to your boss about parking/flexible hours and ways to ease your work day.
You could also apply for disability parking because of your issues with walking.
This is the reason why I suggested getting a diagnosis first and foremost that way everything else will fall into place.
I hope things ease for you very soon.
Take care
Victoria
Thank you . Yes recent diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Recent diagnosis of Raynaud's but before fibromyalgia. Spondylitis of the neck, I've had that for years but now severe. Regular I have to stop driving because I can't feel my feet on the padels. I pull over till feeling comes back. Lots of trips, stumbles and a couple of falls. Diverticular disease. Pre cancerous cells of the cervix. Due for some more treatment. Undiagnosed aneimia last year. Loss of any quality life. Thanks
Wow, that's a lot you have going on bless you.
You could actually look at benefits so that you could go part time and the benefits will make up what you are lacking by going part time.
I used to give advice about benefits professionally but that was some years ago now and things have changed, a lot.
Your employer would be hard pushed to sack you due to your illnesses, if they do you have a good case for disability discrimination.
Contact your social services department, make an appointment with them. They will give you all the advice and support you need including employment advice.
You have done so well still working with so much going on health wise.
Good luck with everything and hope it all gets sorted very soon for you.
Victoria xx
I don't know what to say. I have that fibro fog. I get very irritated and frightened at anything I'm not familiar with. I don't think I would be able to manage it. Thanks
Yeh thanks , it's tough. Don't know how long I can keep going. Just keep going till I drop. I don't know anything else.
Apply for a blue badge - it's relatively easy to do. I just sent my diagnosis letter from the hospital and filled in the form. I finally admitted I needed help and saw a lovely lady at the local council office - had a chat with her and she watched me walk back to the reception then told me that although she couldn't tell me there and then whether I would get the blue badge she considered I "had nothing to worry about". A week later the badge dropped through the door. I can't tell you the difference it has made.
Also work wise I have just had a "reasonable adjustments" assessment which was stressful I admit but hopefully it will result in making life a little easier for me. You may wish to put in a claim for PIP - lots of info on here relating to it. I haven't as yet gone down that route.
Good luck and let us know how you are doing
Hi Bobby16, you poor thing. You really sound like you need a break. You're struggling on regardless of your illnesses and all you want to do is collapse.
You really should look into PIP etc and cut some hours at work. Maybe even go sick for a couple of months. I'm so worried for you.
Sending all my love and hugs and best wishes for a better time to come.xxx
I'm so sorry to here the hard time that you are having! Regarding parking have you applied for a blue badge? I applied twice and the second time I got one - it's made such a difference to my life! Also, have you spoken to work about your illness? I know it's a difficult and scary conversation but once I did I felt so much better. Do you have a good support system around you? Is there anything that we can do xxx
