Well that's cheered me up thank you - lovely pups. Love the one ear up and one ear down look! Hoping for a good day but have found out that bronchitis and fibro doesn't feel good!! 4 weeks of it now. Exhausted.

Am so glad it made you smile Jannh. I can imagine that the 2 together is not a good mix 😣. I hope you get better very soon xx

Hi JANNH

I just wanted to wish you better very soon.

I've had Pneumonia several times in the last couple of years and coupled with severe Fibro as you say is not a good mix.

Try to rest up as much as you can and keep warm.

Get well soon

Lu xx

Awe bless them, yes I have a little dog, a Lakeland terrier and he sits at top of stairs exactly the same, the kids are usually upstairs on their computers & games, so he keeps an eye on them, well he stays up there to get as much fuss as is offered & then he's down trying to grab more from us lol. He had epilepsy so we have to keep an eye on him. It is controlled by meds but he still gets little ones from time to time.

I'm totally exhausted to be honest & in pain today but I'm not going to be moving much from my recliner lol xxx

Oh I used to play in big tournaments and I was very much into it. Used to play every Saturday & trained twice a week. I unused to swim for my school aswell & joined the Portmouth swimming club many yrs ago, now I can't get up the stairs lol..I did used to love it. I do try to swim as much as my body will allow but get very tired & it's hard work getting undressed & Dried & dressed again. I do enjoy it when I can manage it though.

Yep I'm not leaving my chair today lol xx

They are gorgeous you must be a glutton for punishment 2 to train at the same time or is it easier.

Love & Hugs

Xx

in reply toMackembabe

Thanks Mackembabe. I have Flynn, collie x who is 14 months old and Stevie G (named after the Liverpool football player😁) who is collie and 10 weeks old. We are trying to toilet train Stevie at the moment but she just isnt getting it 🙄.

She is so clever tho and is already sitting on command, argh!!

Finally Flynn is accepting Stevie but she is so feisty for one so small 😊

I hope you are having a great day xx

Your pups are FAB....can I trade them for my little princess ? Her name is Lily and she is about 8 years old. She is a semi rescue dog in the sense that we paid £400 to get her away from some very unsavory characters and we felt so sorry for her. She is half Yorky and half Jack Russell. With her Yorky "head" on she is soooo sweet. With her Jack Russell "head" on she is the devil incarnate!.

We made the mistake of letting her sleep in our bedroom. Cunning madam that she is, she waits until we are asleep and then by stealth she jumps up onto out bed, makes a nest with the duvet and falls asleep. We can put up with so long as there are no foxes around and then she just bays to the moon until the foxes move on.

If she can't or doesn't sleep she makes sure no one else can. Bless her.

Hope you feel better very soon. Sending buckets of soft hugs.

Ian

Thank you for making me smile Ian with your description of Lily.

She sounds like an absolute darling and very lucky to have you.

My Flynn has a habit of looking like an angel but at times stares at us like he is plotting our demise!!!

It is hard work with Stevie, she is into everything, getting fatter by the day and just isnt catching on to being toilet trained argh!!

You are probably like me and could never be without our furbabies?

I am ok considering i played a whole game of netball last night and have fared relatively well.

One thing i am not getting used to with this Fibromyalgia malarkey is lack of temperature regulation. One minute i am boiling hot and the next minute frozen to the bone.

Hey ho could be worse.

You have a good day today

Hiya again,

I have suffered with the rotten Fibro for the last 8 years and yep ref the temperature thing is a right royal pain, my internal thermometer gave up years ago. Last time in hosp the Filipino nurses were laughing at me and thought I was mad sitting by the side of the bed striped to the waist coz I was sooooo hot Meanwhile the girls were wearing jumpers and cardigans coz they were cold. I really think my internal thermostat is kaput. In the deepest winter at home I only wear shorts and a tee shirt.

Do you have the restless leg syndrome ? The thing that make your legs jump so violently that your whole body literally "jumps" off the bed as the nerves go into over time. That's great when ( as in my case) you are drifting off to sleep and you feel as if you are connected to the National Grid for a split second and hey presto you have a jerk and you are wide awake cussing!

Just had a stand off with Lily. Any post and all parcels arriving at the house are hers. She must inspect them first, sniff all over and any dodgy ones must be opened. Our regular postman has been trained to knock on the kitchen window so any deliveries can be bought in above her leaping range. Mind you one still has to cover one's dangley bits as they are always in the firing line if she has a paddy on. Ooops hope you aren't of Irish decent, no insult intended and have a broad sense of humour.

We have a geriatric as well, Jochie ( Dutch word, slang meaning little or young boy, pronounced Yo Key) aged 17, he sleeps 20 hours a day , much to Lily's annoyance. He wants to play kiss chase and chase me Charlie when she does not and of course vice versa. They are like chalk and cheese but go into rapid decline and depression on the very odd occasions they are parted. Jochie is a Westie. He is deaf, almost blind (cataracts) has terrible digestion and can clear a room in 2 minutes if he has a "tummy" rumble, get my drift. Pooooey. He is also suffering from dementia, still got his own teeth though and loves his (or anybodies) grub.

Well, my Dear time to hit the galley and rustle something up for dinner. Easy night tonight as I am feel well what rough (just been diagnosed as diabetic on top of every thing else and cant get my blood sugar levels down). Am on insulin but, as yet is has not kicked in.

Great to get to know you.

Keep Happy and keep Healthy,

Ian

Hello Ian

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend with no pain issues.

I don't have the restless leg thing, thank goodness.

I asked a pharmacist if there was something I could do about the temperature fluctuations.

Unfortunately there isn't anything herbal or pharmacutecal I can take to ease it.

That's the thing about living in the 21st century, I expect a cure for everything!!

I have had a good day today so thankful for good days.

Take care

Victoria
