Welcome to the forum
I always advocate to our members to do some gentle stretching every day.
As the majority of us are unable to exercise properly, gentle stretching is the next best thing.
I used to go to a yoga class once a week, but I am unable to do a whole class now, so what I have done is to adapt the yoga moves into gentle stretching.
The pose of the baby is pretty much what you are describing above. This will help to stretch your back muscles.
Another one you could try would be to kneel on the floor and gently extend your arms in front of you as far as you can, then relax into the pose for a minute or so.
Take a look on YouTube and I am sure you will find lots of gentle stretching that you can try.

Sounds about like restless leg syndrome. I do stretching exercises in bed before settling down and I find it really helps as does outting cool gel in and massaging it in. Horrible feeling isn't it.x

I am so truly sorry to read that you are experiencing this problem, and as rosewine says it does sound a great deal like ''Restless Leg Syndrome.'' It may help to discuss this with your doctor?
