Greetings from the US and a Question

Hello UK Friends:

I hope that everyone is managing alright today.

We have incredibly bad health care here in the US, probably the worst in the industrialized world. Actually it is not the health care but the system of administering it which is sluggish and exclusionary. It is administered by self-serving health insurance companies whose greatest interest is in making great profits from themselves. But enough about me...

I am wondering whether any of you have used SAM-e? It is only available in the US as a supplement. If you have used it, would you be willing to share your experience with its efficacy? I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks very much. I wish you all a day without pain.

I still think it's better in the US, rather in the UK.

You can get the Sam e here. Not used it yet though.

Already produced inside your body in small amounts, SAMe is the first dietary supplement which can improve both your flexibility and mobility as well as your mental state. As much a powerful amino acid, capable of easing your pains and aches, as it is a neurotransmitter enabler, this is the next stage in battling both mental and physical pain.

It's not free and then you're not a health tourist.

Hi SHUS what leads you ask us in the UK?

I think the issue is the health insurance companies and people going along with everything. There are non profit health insurances and other routes as alternate insurances if you search the Internet. I actually don't have any insurance. I actually prefer our health system not be part of the government. But we can't really discuss politics on this site.

I have not tried Sam-e but will definitely look into it and it's ingredients.

I hope you can find some people on here that have used it or heard of some that have and can give you something helpful.

Take care×××

Hi SHUS

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

I have never used it myself but the *National Centre For Complimentary And Integrative Health website says:

*S-Adenosyl-L-methionine (also called S-adenosyl methionine, S-adenosylmethionine, SAMe, or SAM-e in the United States or ademetionine in Europe, and also often abbreviated as SAM and AdoMet) is a chemical that is found naturally in the body. SAMe is sold in the United States as a dietary supplement.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I think that we are blessed in that here you can at any time 24/7 365 days years a year walk into any of the multi million pound hospital and be treated or admitted within 4 hours and walk away with a bill of zero, nada, nothing. The annoying thing is health tourists those from other countries who come here just to get treated and then go away without paying anything towards treatment It is coating the NHS millions every year and it needs to be stopped.

Wishing you a great day Hugs from London :>)))))))))) Ian
