Our local church is having a pet service soon.

We have 4 small dogs. My imagination has been doing treble overtime thinking . Dogs on leads ...fine . Caged bird they would go crazy as they like feather hunting.

Our Pug is BIG baby she will have her tum rubbed for all the service possibly.

What pets would you take? (even if you have no pets!)

I recently went to a 'pet day' at the local community center ... Oh my days, it was hektic. There was a snake, a bird, some gerbil type things, 2small dogs, a guinea pig and lots of noise. It did not bode well and some of the service users got upset to the point of panic... This obviously defeated the whole point somewhat. I'm sure the facilitator meant well but it caused a lot of stress.

I have 4 cats. Can you imagine what chaos they would cause.

:) :)

Taking my 2 rescue dogs would be a challenge ! One would be desperate to get at the cats and birds, the other would be in fight or flight mode ( alas, mostly fight with her) as in her head, we are always potentially under attack and she must take on all comers ! I found her living wild in a pack of dogs, vet reckoned she might have lived another week, and she'd had to really fight to survive. That was 10 years ago & while she's quiet and obedient at home, great with children, taking her out is a matter of predicting not just what she might do but what other dogs might do too.
