PIP Tribunal update

Well more news. Had a phone call from a lovely man at the DWP today saying they had received my tribunal result paperwork and would be processing it this afternoon! I will receive a letter over the next couple of days and the money will be in my account by the end of the week 😀 Absolutely chuffed to bits. Hope all you lovely people are doing okay today 😘 xx

Thats great news.I was turned down for it last year,didn't have the energy to fight it.But now rang up to apply again and believe me if they turn me down again I will fight it till the end.

Good for you lovely don't let them get away with it. I must admit on the morning of the appeal I thought I just can't face going & nearly rang & cancelled! I was just worn out with it all, have been fighting for medical retirement at work as well. I waited 9 months for my ESA assessment & was expecting a battle with that too but to my surprise I was put in the support group. I did feel in that interview the assessor had actually read my medical notes & was knowledgable on the condition whereas the PIP assessor fired question after question & barely let me speak. I was in there for 20 minutes & she decided I could do everything on a daily basis! Why is everything such a battle 😟 The panel at my appeal were professional but understanding I felt & did show empathy during my emotional moments. As I said to them nobody would choose to be in this situation over leading a normal life & being able to work xx
