Just a quick hello!

Still fairly new here and was looking for some type of organization to how the posts are done? I am not finding any master list of chat topics - is there one? IF not we should really do that! :D I am 42 and was diagnosed way back when I was 18. I tried like hell all these years to just "ignore" my diagnosis and pretend I didn't have it in hopes that maybe the doctors were wrong but at 42 I can barely walk and have finally surrendered to the fact I will need some sort of pain meds for the rest of my living days to feel somewhat normal enough to function. Glad to see I am not alone in this adventure!

Welcome to our forum. If you out what you are looking for in the search box at the top of the page other chats with that topic should come up. If you are on a phone or a tablet you might have to turn it landscape view to see the topics which I think are in the third box down. You can then click on what interests you. It will also give you an indication of when it was posted.

On the right hand side it will also give you what we call pinned posts which give you guidelines as to what you can and can't post eg things like nothing political or racist.

Please feel free to chat about anything but if you lock your post (there is guidance on how to do this on the right hand side or one of the admins can help out if you are stuck) you will find more people answer especially if it is a sensitive subject. When you do your post scroll down to the bottom you will see community or everyone, just click on community so that your post and replies isn't accessible to fisher on the internet eg Facebook.

We have a laugh, put up pictures etc but also chat about more serious topics. We try and help one another out when people are feeling low but it is also nice to share good news. Look forward to your future posts.x

Hi Vazzie

If you are looking for a certain subject, as our rosewine has said, there is a search bar at the top right hand corner of your screen.

You will find the newest posts on the page. I am afraid that we are unable to have a master list of chat subjects as our forum website is not set up for that.

If you need any help navigating the forum, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will be more than happy to help you.

I have given you a link below on how to lock your posts. Currently your post can be seen across the Locked posts can only be seen by members of our forum:

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

If you look under Pinned Posts in blue to the right of your screen you will see that I have written several easy to follow guides on how to find your way around.

I hope you find this useful.

Wishing you a peaceful evening.

Hi Vassie

[Sadly] You are in good company. This is a wonderful bunch! I am still learning about my disease after 25+ years of being ill. I am 58 and I can hardly walk. My legs are so weak, I force myself to get up and move around. I have become an opioid addict under a doctor's care. Something I NEVER wanted to be, but was finally left with no other choice. I have severe peripheral neuropathy [both feet/lower legs] and take a high daily dose of Neurontin [gabapentin]

I have found wonderfully sympathetic folks on here, they will happily share a laugh or woefully shed a tear with you. They are kind, considerate, compassionate, understanding, funny, witty, they are so helpful and have a ton of useful information available, just a click or two away.

We are happy to have you, welcome, welcome, welcome.
