Hi all, I have What was diagnosed as fibromyalgia (but the surgeon is still arguing that it's Arthritis) and found research about the link between meat and joint inflammation.
Long story short, I have taken to a vegetarian diet and my condition has improved somewhat. I'm still in some pain and struggling to sleep at night, but it's not the agony it was. I have regained movement in my right shoulder but still not much coordination in the hand. Yes it could just be coincidence, but I feel better and less fatigue. If nothing else I no longer have constant bowel sounds of rumbling, so digestion is improved.
It maybe worth a try if your at your wits end like I was, trying to smile and get on with a full time job and care for a family on your days off. I'm now able to function while the doctors continue to argue my diagnosis. I don't care what they call it, I just don't want it!! I want to enjoy my life and if going vegetarian helps the pain, it's worth a try. Good luck all.
