Diet change

Hi all, I have What was diagnosed as fibromyalgia (but the surgeon is still arguing that it's Arthritis) and found research about the link between meat and joint inflammation.

Long story short, I have taken to a vegetarian diet and my condition has improved somewhat. I'm still in some pain and struggling to sleep at night, but it's not the agony it was. I have regained movement in my right shoulder but still not much coordination in the hand. Yes it could just be coincidence, but I feel better and less fatigue. If nothing else I no longer have constant bowel sounds of rumbling, so digestion is improved.

It maybe worth a try if your at your wits end like I was, trying to smile and get on with a full time job and care for a family on your days off. I'm now able to function while the doctors continue to argue my diagnosis. I don't care what they call it, I just don't want it!! I want to enjoy my life and if going vegetarian helps the pain, it's worth a try. Good luck all.

Well done to you for finding something that helps....long may the improvement continue!! x

Thank you for posting and I am really glad you have found something that works for you.

So many fibromites have IBS and other digestive problems, often it is trial and error to find relief.

Long may it continue!

Good luck 😃
