Feeling exhausted but pleased with myself.

Hi everyone, I have just got back from a few days camping alone. I love time on my own and in the outdoors away from everything. I walked to a local campsite with my kit on my back, I was determined to do this and had a great couple of days. I relaxed and read books. ,I walked back too. I'm determined not to let this fibro beat me. I found sleeping on the ground difficult, I had a roll mat but still felt every bump in the ground. I also had trouble standing up from the groud, i spent so long on my knees, but I enjoyed myself. I'm now suffering with exhaustion and aching all over but pleased that I've done this.

Don't let this fibro beat us!

David

Sometimes David we just have to go for these things even if we suffer the consequences afterwards. I think just getting away from our usual 4 walls does us mentally a power of good. Well done.x

Hi Trikki, yes I cooked on a small stove both nights. You can cook many things in one pan. I have a small set of pans that fit together so don't take up much space.

I knew I would suffer afterwards but it was worth it.

Hope you are ok. Have a good day.
