Fibromyalgia ?
Hello Hidden Please let me wish you a very warm welcome to our group. We have a wealth of information if you would care to take a look. fmauk.org May I ask how long you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia ? I often suffer from swollen feet like many other members i'm sure. This is not always down to fibro there could be many reasons. Your doctor's opinion was it's your diabetes. Is there any reason you don't believe your GP ? I also suffer from IBS again many members do but so do a lot of people who don't have fibro. And if my ibs is bad It can cause slight dizziness I would think due to dehydration if the bowels are loose rather than constipated.
I see you have not locked your post may i suggest it would be a good idea to do so then it won't go on to the web and your more likely get more replies to your question. Please feel welcomed. xx

Hi Dizzy2 my doctor diagnoses every thing his self.I have a hiatus hernia and a ulcer.Acid reflux which he said was indegestion. So that is why I query what he says. Thanks for your previous reply.I,ll just keep taking the tablets.
As i understand it the feeling of having swollen feet and / or hands with there being no swelling is a symptom of Fibro.
Welcome Sue.
I can say this is a definite Fibro! Everything is getting numb & tingly, right?

These are classic symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, caused by diabetes. Check it online and compare. All the best
Hi Shazzy thanks for your advise, will check online and compare. Many thanks Acharavi.
It can be diabetic neuropathy. Talk to your doctor about starting organic sulfur supplement. He may not know, but you can do research of benefits online.
Walnuts are good for diabetes plus keep well away from diet/low/sugar free junk as they make diabetes worse as mess with the pancreas!
Read and learn do searches on the net ask all sorts of questions and see results
Plus look up diet coke issues!
Only three things that go past my lips Water.tea.coconut water(pure no additives)ho and some fresh fruit juices none with sugar etc etc
Acharavi, hello and welcome. If you don't trust your medical doctor, you owe yourself another one. Did the check your vitamin B12? Diabetes isn't anything to play around with. If you wear high heel, you may wish to buy a lower heel wider shoe call it comfortable. A tight toe box will choke your toes causing a neuropathy. Or, perhaps you developed Morton's Neuroma. It's a growth ? On a nerve on the underside of your foot. I was diagnosed with Mortons on both feet. Hurt awefully bad. However once I made a bunch of changes and spent more time walking barefooted, I improved...over time. Neuropathy still exists but not as bad. I was talked out of surgery. A blessing. I might have ended up with more pain. I never wore high heels but I did walk a lot, in tennis shoes.
I hope that you find your doctor and comfortable feet real soon. Be well.
Hi chickapea my doctor did no checks whatsoever. He diagnosed diabetic neuropathy and gave me duloxetine tablets. He missed a inflamed gall bladder, said nothing wrong.A different lady doctor spotted it right away.Had gall stones , hence my gall bladder removal.Popular doctors are hard to see.Acharavi.
Acharavi, hi! You don't need a popular doctor, just a good one. Have you ever watched the tv program "Doc Martin?" It was a series filmed in beautiful Cornwall. Doc, a curmudgeon, is a dream find for the citizens of his town because he comes with smarts. He is a doctor who reads and keeps current with his medical learning. I wish that we all could find that focused dedicated physician, even if he is crass with terrible bedside manner. So again, it is up to us to seek out some type of doctor we can believe in and who has our best interests at heart regardless of temperament. There are many good doctors that haven't become popular or famous yet. Go find yours. Blessings....
I have fibro and also get this, cannot keep shoes and socks on for any length of time as it makes them worse feeling as though the skin is stretched to it's limit. Mine was diagnosed by the pain clinic team so might be worth asking to be referred to them.
