Hi HENDO2000272 welcome to our wonderful forum โ˜บ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

Has your doctor taken any blood tests ? The main fibromyalgia signs and symptoms include deep muscle pain, painful tender points, and morning stiffness. Other common symptoms of fibromyalgia include sleep problems, fatigue, and anxiety. In order to make an accurate diagnosis, your doctor will need to review your symptoms and signs of fibro.

This is done with a series of blood tests to eliminate other conditions like RA, Lupus, Limes Desease etc.

Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.

Hello Jan and thanks for your reply, doctors have on many occasions tested full bloods and the Reumatologist had some done too. Not certain which ones, I now take Omperazole 20mg and 10mg of Amitriptaline at 6pm . The latter makes me feel dizzy and so groggy in the morning.....hope your ok ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€....

Hello Kay thanks for your reply, I have been recently diagnosed. I was going to ask for a little advice too. I now take Amitriptalyne 10mg at 6pm which helps me to go off to sleep but not great to keep me there, also have vivid dreams and really hard to move in the morning like a zombie up untill around 11am.....Any advice?.. I hope you are feeling ok today and wish you a nice day too x

Hi HENDO2000272

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

From my personal viewpoint, a couple of the things that I find useful are my physio, which is very gentle movement exercises and my TENS Machine which helps alleviate my pain.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
