I was diagnosed in 2007 after going through a series of test.
It is 2017, I AM STILL IN SHOCK AND PAIN.
Joining this group is the best thing you have done.
Welcome😊
Hi Fabo, welcome to the site. I've only had my diagnosis for a few weeks. It's all a bit daunting isn't it. I've been in what I can now call last flare since December and I'm wondering if this is now My new normal. I've been given some great advice on here and have picked up some good tips by reading old posts. There always seems to be someone on here to talk to day and night.
Welcome, I am Sue. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like And dont hesitate to join in conversations. See ya around.
Thank you Mayrose54 😃
Hi I am sorry you have this to put up with. You didn't give your age I am an old hand now I would say if your area has a pain clinic get on it this is a marathon not a Sprint I found the pain clinic gave me help to get my head straight and that was after many years of working on my own. The only other nugget I have is if you can move Move 😇😇 I have found being in the deep end of the swimming pool and just moving it helps me sleep and keeps the pain down. All the best you find what works for you and pace yourself xx
Hi Oilvia77, I'm not sure what is in my area to be truthful as we only moved here in November last year. Something I've got to look into now. I'm 44 but at the moment I feel 94🤔. I've got pain in my back, legs, shoulder, wrist and bottom, also my skin is sore to the touch too. I work in a school but my doctor has put me on the sick and haven't been for 3 weeks now and I'm missing it terribly.
Yes I get that missing work I still miss it and I am 62 the first full blown attack I had I told my doc even my hair hurts. After a hospital with a rheumatologist and got pilled up I got back to work but that took a year so don't rush look after yourself and learn to say no to outings or shopping trips if it means you will suffer the next day I wish you all the best. This site gives you a chance to unload so use it 😀😀 Olivia
