Back from my first Break

Back from my first break to North Wales. Specialist said I was ok to go as long as I stopped every hour or so, due to all the operations on my spine. I had a really lovely time seeing my sister and the weather was fantastic. Home now and unpacked little tired so will have an early night. It's always nice to get back to your own bed. πŸ˜€I truly hope that everyone is feeling as well as they can be and have been enjoying the lovely weather. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx

It sounds like you had a wonderful time, the sun came out just for you :)

Glad you coped with the travelling too, that must have been a relief and gives you the green light to go away again.

I agree there is nothing like your own bed, I often take my own pillow if I am staying just for that familiar comfort!

Once you have got over this trip, what will you be planning next?

Hi Kay I really did have a lovely time. I was worried at first about the traveling I was a little sore but I stopped a few times and that really helped me. I really smiled when I read that you take your pillow. I also take my pillow. I thought I was the only crazy person that carried my pillow around with me. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ My husband is thinking about a cruise next year. But this year I think just a few trips around the UK maybe when I feel stronger I may have a trip back home to Scotland. But from Surrey if we drive it takes between 7 to 8 hours. I truly hope that you are feeling as well as you can be. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx

Hi Crusee yes we had a really lovely time. My husband is thinking about a very small cruise maybe next year. I think that we will do a few trips first in the UK. My sister was very upset when I left but she is coming to me at the end of June and I am really looking forward to seeing her then. Yes you must take a little holiday it really does us good. Have a lovely time where ever you go. I truly hope that you are feeling as well as you can be. Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx

Did you have far to travel to N Wales for your break?

A cruise sounds a lovely idea.I would love to do that but my hubby hates the idea of it.A few more UK trips will be nice and your sister visiting you will also be a treat.

I am definately be having a break soon.I have always had about 3 holidays a year but all that changed with my conditions .I am just trying to get my old life back again but it doesn't seem to want to come back.

Keep up the travelling.

Take care.

Morning Crusee sorry for late reply. No it was a 4 hour trip so not to bad and I stopped a couple of times. My husband is the same he has been trying to get me on a cruise for a while but I am nervous of the sea so I may try a small cruise 🚒 next year. Take good care of yourself. I can recommend a first time small cruise. I did one last year for I think 4 nights.Took a mini memory foam topper with me. Would have been better without the strained ankle but still an interesting and new experience. I did spend a fair bit of time in the cabin but that was fine with feet up on the bed and the sea view. I enjoy having the memories of it.

Hi Jan101 I've been resting in bed since Sunday pulled muscle in my thigh πŸ˜” so been bored there's only so much tv reading and colouring that one person can do πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜πŸ€—πŸ€—

Jan101 in reply to Bambamsnan

Ah really sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Also it's so painful when you pull a muscle. I retired over a year ago had my own company but due to illness I had to close everything down. I have taken up making hand made cards it gives me something to do when I am bored. Never thought I would do anything like that but it's so addictive who would guess it. Maybe you could think of a little hobby that is easy for you. Keep resting and look after yourself. Take care Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxxx

Hi Bambamnan I like crime πŸ“Ί shows I have never watch grey's anatomy I'll have to have a look for that. I never in a million years though I would make cards I have just given a loud to my sister. It keeps me out of trouble for now. How long it will last I don't know.😜 How are you doing is your mussel getting any better? Take good care of yourself. Jan πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΉxxx
