Hello seastreak

Unfortunately lack of energy and fatigue are for some the worst part of having Fibromyalgia.

I have had Fibro & ME for 36 years, and have been a member of this forum for 5 years.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I do know that there is no medication specifically for fatigue.

Lyrica (also known as Pregabalin) and Cymbalta are prescribed to Fibro sufferers to help with pain and low mood.

If you haven't had any bloods done recently it may well be worth asking your GP to check your Vits D and B12 levels.

The best thing for fatigue is trying to pace yourself, very gentle stretching and maybe having a look at The Spoon Theory (you can read up about it by Googling it).

Wishing you a peaceful weekend

I have been on Pregablin for about 6 years and it has helped take the edge off the pain. I am on quite a low dose as to be quite honest if I increase it makes my fatigue worse. Also as BlueMermaid3 says fatigue can Unfortunately be a big part of fibro.x

Hi seastreak

I really am so gneuinely sorry to read that you are experiencing fatigue in this way. As the other shave said it could all be part and parcel of the Fibro unfortunately. There are medications that you could discuss with your GP that could help alleviate fatigue if they feel that you are suitable for them? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I get awful fatigue - it’s really draining but then I keep being told that I need to learn to manage my time and learn to

Admit defeat but I’m very stubborn and so I tend to push myself - one thing to avoid is caffeine etc as this will just make you a lot worse - because you drop even further :)
