Unfortunately I too have this. Years back I had two short bouts lasting about 2 weeks which antiinflammatory tablets and rest soon sorted out. Then I had it again but much worse and nothing seemed to help. I too had a mammogram etc, they found a small cyst but nothing large enough to be causing the pain. The breasts specialist suggested I try the her. Agnus Castus as she said for the breast tenderness she had found it helped many patients. Unfortunately it made me feel nauseous and I had to discontinue after trying it for 6 weeks. If you do decide to try make sure it doesn't clash with any meds. you are already taking.

I find a cooling gel helps my costo whereas others have e found something like a hot day o flannel can help relieve the pain. Try not to stretch up for things or do any sudden twisting movements as it seems to make it worse. I do hope it eases for you.x

thank you yes it may be something i have to speak to my dr about as im on other med for anxiety which was triggered by this lol. my lower ribs are quite tender tonight i cant wait to go to bed. i think i may have over done it yesterday. but it was mainly the breast pain so many people experience different types of pains and sensations ive found with this condicton. x

If it is any comfort many suffer with the dreaded costo I can't wear a bra because of it. If you have a thin soft pillow it sometimes helps to rest against it. I know how you feel about it getting you down as it is unrelenting and so difficult to get on a comfy position. Hope you have a good night.x

Hi Jemma1987

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are suffering in this way, and I also suffer with Costochondritis myself, and it really is unpleasant.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
