Never mind. Just take baby steps. At least you were motivated enough to get up.

Have u ever got to the bottom of the fibro? My endo blames statins, antibiotics and ppis.

Oh don't feel guilty with the best will in the world somedays we are just not up to going out and if we force ourselves we end up even worse than before. Just rest today and take care of yourself and hopefully fibro will give you a window of opportunity to get out tomorrow.x

Don't feel guilty I have done that,Iam in my PJs now curled up on the sofa with my blanket, I can't be bothered to have a shower, get well soon,xx

We all have days like this, I have promised in the morning that I will go out that afternoon only to find that I am too tired. Don't beat yourself up over it there will always other days - mind you I think a half day out is enough of a challenge . x

Hi feistyfibro74

Did you have to let someone down today? If so, I am sure they would understand.

If you feel you have just let yourself down, please don't feel guilty my friend.

Stressing about it will just make you feel a lot worse.

You need to be kinder to yourself and start trying to accept that you will have days like this.

I had every intention of getting a lot of things done today, but pain has prevented me from doing any of it.

It's ok to be kind to yourself.

I hope you are feeling slightly better now.

Lu xx

it is so challenging as to what we can and cant do balancing the books isn't easy. the big word here is accept, not to hit yourself over the head as I have done so many times in the past but I am learning that word accept it is so much easier on the body. take care iris

Theres no guilt in sometimes taking a step back and realising that you are about to bite off more than you can chew, that is better than getting a mouthful and choking, the important thing is that you try again and eep on trying, 2 little steps forward are better than 2 forward 2 back. Be honest and firm with yourself, be realistic and be kind, and give yourself the luxury of not beating yourself up.

You know what, how many times do you hear the expression "oh you make me feel guilty now"???, well it is not true because only YOU can make yourself feel guilty, do your best to make the right decision and if you dont always do the right thing so what? we all make mistakes.

Blessings

Hi, please don't feel guilty, it will only worsen the stress and feed the pain. I have missed weddings, parties, grandchildren's outings, etc., etc. It's not you who is dictating where and when you can go. It's the illness. I used to make excuses as to what, I thought, sounded more credible. Please just tell people your limitations when you are unwell. Look after yourself. You, your mental health and physical well-being are more important!
