New to this.
Hi Stacey, welcome to the forum. I joined not so long ago. its a good place to find out info and share your worries about fibro. Nice to see you smiling. You are very young but maybe the early diagnosis will be a help in learning how to manage the symptoms x
Hi Meg, if I'm honest I have good and bad days. More bad thanks good. I find the weather has a lot to do with it. I cannot stand the cold. I'm climbing the walls at the moment because it's everywhere and Meds not working. I don't know how I got through work today. I don't want to come out of work as I like my routine but mornings are hard especially when it takes me half hour to get moving. Do you have these sort of problems? X
Unfortunately yes I'm still trying to get meds sorted due to a recent change from a lovely Doc at the pain clinic I currently have a bit more energy but my pain levels have gone up. I have recently had to come out of work but I'm hitting 50 this year and I don't think I would have coped with that at your age as work can be a big part of your social life. I hope with the weather picking up soon that we all start to feel the benefit of it. Many days in work I felt like crying and had to sleep when I got home but I managed to get through it for some years and I'm glad that I did. I will be sending you some telepathic energy for tomorrow morning and yes the mornings are a disaster and I get grumpy x
It's so nice to speak to someone who understands what a nightmare it is. My partner doesn't understand at all. Some nights I'm in bed for 7.30 because I'm that tired. All I get from him is moaning and saying I'm lazy. I'm sick of it because he really doesn't understand the pain I'm in. X
Yep that was me, keep your chin and try to be patient (to a limit) I do believe it must be hard for friends etc to understand because its not visible and even the professionals although this is improving are having diffs. What I will say though is that you must look after yourself and make yourself number One before you can help anyone else. That's me off to bed now its lovely to chat to you too X
