Have posted b4 but sleepless night so decided to complete profile and introduce myself properly, I am 60 yrs old and was given fibro diag. In 2015. Have terrific Rheumy who says it's probably been there for a lot of years but in a quite latent state just niggling now n again. 2014/ 15 flared and hasn't subsided, now also have peripheral neuropathy and osteo arthritis, and most recently major lung problems and Lupus. Feel a bit battered at the moment. All of the forums on Health Unlimited are amazingly informative and some of the posts make me laugh, which is a pleasure not yet affected by any of this..... so please keep going all of you!

Hello
Morning cupc Lovely picture and post, love the colours x
Hi Ccupcakes firstly I would like to welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are. I am sorry you have had such a long time being unwell, I suffer with Polymyalgia aswell as fibromyalgia and degenerative nerve damage, so sympathise with you my friend, if my arthritis isn't flaring up, it's the Fibro.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful butterfly picture, the colours are gorgeous and I look forward to chatting with you on the forum.
Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.
Peace, luv n light
Jan ☺

Hi there
What a beautiful picture
It's incredible how much you can learn from these forums isn't it?
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and ME in 1980, but I have learned more about Fibro in the 5 years I have been a member here than I ever have from any doctors or consultants!
We do try our best to have a laugh along the way as well.
Wishing you much peace
Lu xx
Hi Ccupcakes and welcome again.
I am always surprised how often fibro accompanies so many other conditions, many of them autoimmune related.
Like you I also have Lupus and other autoimmune conditions and it does make me wonder if fibro should be put into that category as well.
I may be biased but I think this is the best community on HU as we have so many helpful members and we all like to have a giggle now and then.
Hope to see you more about the forum.
Kay
