Hi ang53,

So glad you're out of 'the dark place' that lasted so long.

I'm just wondering if you find that your fibro affects your diabetes or vice versa. I'm also curious as to what sort of arthiritis you've been diagnosed with - is it rheumatoid or osteo? There appears to be some links and I have a theory that I'm currently investigating.

Many thanks in advance for your response and Welcome back to this wonderful and supportive forum.

Best wishes and brighter days going forward

Hi and it's osteoarthritis. And as for fybromyalgia affecting my diabetes I do not know, I get down because of the pain. Thinking about it yes it does because I sometimes do not know if I have taken my insulin or not. Which is dangerous obviously it's the fog it's getting bad

Hi! I am new to this site and I related to you as I have Diabeties and Fibromygelia. For years I thought the nerve tingling, pain, muscle cramps was part of nerve problems with diabities! Until I went to get a jab at the nurses who called in a doctor as I had a frozen shoulder and in pain. They said this was not normal and gave me Diazipam, not long after I was diagnosed with Fibro and Chronic Fatigue. I guess like me you have a bucket full of pills and several injections to take!

Life is difficult even with morphine I am in pain but I am getting to see my son grow up, support my partner as much as I can and have lots of online buddies! I don't think anyone without a chronic illness can understand how you feel. Love to chat sometime. Cheers Patrick

It's so true unless you are in pain you do not understand. I have just been started on tramadol for my pain, trying to give them a chance but I feel so fuzzy headed and pain no different. Was offered morphine but that scared me.am desperate to get good pain relief so I can enjoy life without constant pain. Maybe one day. You take care
