well if my arms get any worse I'll need someone to wipe my bottom anyone else have bad arms as well as everything else this fantastic illness has to offer

Hi Hun- I too have this hygiene problem, I have had to change my way and time of eating in order to "go the loo" when I get up and use my shower for "after" I have calcium crystal deposits in my arm top/pits which prevent some rotation, maybe ask you g.p to have you arm scanned for anything more than fibro? I have a mild steroid injection into my shoulder/arm top (called acromium area) and it does help enourmously.

yes.there is a "gadget"that can be bought to assist in wiping your bottom.i had this problem so bought one but i cant recall where from.

i was told by a physio who did my p i p assessment can buy an aid for this problem from anywhere that sells aids for the disabled x

I am having physio for my shoulder at the moment I too am having problems with this action. I thought I was going to have to ask my other half to do it for me.

Hi shedloads yes my friend, I get times when my arms really hurt, ache & very tender, even feel bruised sometimes. Wrist pain, shoulder & neck pain radiates down arms with Fibro. I have to support my arms with cushions. I find, as with most Fibro pain in limbs is helped with heat, a soak in bath, a lot of people use Epson salts & say they are very good & ease the pain.

I hope you get some relief soon my friend. Have you mentioned it to the doctor and had it checked over ?
