Unable to meet income threshold

Hi I have been refused for entry clearance for spouse visa. As my wife doesn't earn £18600 and we had a son who is 9 years old and they are alone in the UK with no support. She can't do extra hours due to the child. We had an appeal on 6th Dec 2016 and today we got the refusal and my solicitor was asking us to file for upper tribunal which I want to file by myself. How much does it cost and what is the time frame for this and is it worth in case where you are not meeting the financial requirements??? My wife had a medical history of depression and now she again depressed.

Hi

I am sorry I don't thnk you will find the answers you are looking for here as this is a Health Forum.

I suggest you ask your solicitor for a breakdown of future costs. You also need to speak to someone from the Immigration Department and see if you have a case under exceptional or compassionate circumstances.

Hi Roger007

I am so genuinely sorry to read this my friend but as the others have said you would be better off with professional advice from a solicitor. Sadly, none of us on here are qualified to answer that kind of question. I want to wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken
