Do I still get esa
If you are already receiving ESA it won't change x
Pip and ESA are different benefits at the mo so no need to do anything until DWP get in touch with you or if your health changes. Gentle hugs Joolz.x
Hi Col195 I just noticed you have only recently joined us so firstly I would like to welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.
I see you have had the correct information already from a couple of our lovely members so just wanted to say Hi
Please do go look at the mother site where you will find all the information you need and lots of useful links on Fibro and I look forward to chatting to you on the forum.
Peace, luv n light
Jan ☺
PS. I advise you to lock your post, follow this link to simple You will get more replies on a locked post too.
Hi Col195

Hiya Col195 welcome to this forum. Ask as many questions as you need too and if you want to rant and rave well that's fine too. Take care x
Welcome to the forum, i see your question has already been answered. We all hope that a simpler system will be introduced, i was due to be re assessed for ESA and advised of DLA to PIP re assessment but as soon as i got the PIP result there followed a letter saying my ESA re assessment was not necessary, this may have been co incidence, there is nothing i can find to say that the DWP cannot use information they hold to make decisions, so with luck, maybe, although i accept the criteria are very different they are seeing common sense and saving some of the money they are alwsys on about saving and making progress towards common sense!. A good example DWP if you are listening is that during my recent PIP application i was asked and gave the same information re name, dob, age, gender, address, marital status, ni number, contact number etc etc 8 TIMES!!! Grrrrrrrr!
Hello, you will keep getting your esa,,,it has nothing to do with your pip awards,,,,keep calm, wam and rest,,,ttfn from Karen.
