That's what happens when you do things when you are suposed to be asleep , I hope you are all doing well even with little or no sleep , everything always seems worse when you are not sleeping much ,
Hope you all have a fairly pain free day ,

As you are fairly new to the forum you may not have seen the post that I have written before regarding lack of sleep.
This is what a Rheumatologist explained to me about Fibromyalgia. Unfortunately I don't have the scientific bit, but hopefully this will make some sense.
Lack of Restorative Sleep is the main CAUSE of Fibromyalgia.
"Normal" people get Restorative Sleep most nights. In order to achieve Restorative Sleep you need to enter REM sleep.
You need to sleep, without waking up once, for four hours before you enter REM sleep. You then need to remain asleep (again without waking) for a further 2 hours.
Whilst you are in REM sleep all the regeneration of new cells and general healing process happens.
After achieving REM sleep "normal" people awake refreshed and ready for the new day.
Because the majority of us that suffer with Fibromyalgia wake many times during the night we do not get REM sleep and therefore have a very good chance of developing Fibromyalgia.
Obviously there are other factors for example stress and trauma, but the lack of sleep is the main one.
I know that feeling! Many a time I have started something that I need to concentrate on and then BOOOM! It's gone and I don't remember how far I got or even if I needed to do it at all.
My son is a regular visitor to my laptop. He accuses me of pressing buttons, which I deny hotly, (how do I know?I can't remember!)
I think we can all relate to this as when we are so tired I am sure the brain somehow presses the "stupid" button and we do the daftess things. Then when we are a bit more rested weca not fathom out where we went wrong.x
