Well I received the dreaded phone call yesterday. After a nightmare 12 months during which my symptoms have got increasingly severe,, and a couple of weeks after I had to surrender my driving licence on medical grounds I had my ESA compulsory assessment and now some genius on the panel believes that I have improved to the point that I should be able to perform some work.

My payments stop as of today bur don't worry. ..............................

We can book you in for a job centre interview as part of this phone call, it's just part of the service, and.................you can always appeal for a reconsideration, if that is you really think you must, though we are busy and that could take up to 3 months.

Too Edited By Admin right I will be appealing

Lol

At one time if you were appealing against it you could ask for your payments to be kept going until the appeal was over, i have done it in the past, but if you loose your appeal the money has to be paid back. Good Luck

It is enough to make you scream I feel so sorry for you both OH and myself have been there and worn the T shirt and it is a horrible situation to be in. I think their tactic is to try to put you off appealing deliberately in order to see who is really in need of the money. I wonder where this magic potion is that they think we all have to suddenly turn us from ailing into dynamo's who can work. Let us know how you get on.x

Why do they take your drivers licence away when you have fibro myalgia? I have never heard that before. Where do you live?

I have started having blackouts, now been booked for MR I, suspicion of epilepsy or god forbid Parkinsons. And live in Doncaster

I am so sorry Adrian. I wish you good luck with your appeal. I know how hard it is not being able to drive. I spent a year at home as I was in too much pain to get into my car, even so I had a license. It was tough and the only good thing was that I did not spent much money and saved some.

Dwp are just getting worse and worse, way to many disabled people are being told there capable of work when drs and specialists are saying we're to ill to work, wish we all felt as good as there betraying us to be, it's a complete joke, glad your going to appeal and best wishes for you
