ESA50.

Does anyone have a review date soon for another wca? If so have you received a new esa50, and when did you receive it. Was it a month before or a couple of weeks before. Many thanks.

I returned my ESA50 at the same time as my PIP application form very early June. I have had my PIP assessment, been informed of the decision and have been receiving payments for over a month.

Meantime I haven't heard a dickie bird from DWP with regard to ESA.

I did read somewhere that the longer it takes before you hear something then the less likely you are to have any changes to your award and possibly even be less likely to be required to attend a WCA. This is apparently because they are prioritising new applicants and then WRAG group and those they already know are likely to have some sort of change to their situation. No idea how true any of that is though.

I did however receive the ESA50 form about 15 months before my claim was due for review. It doesn't actually run out until Oct 2017.

Bizarre system, or at least it's run in a bizarre way.

Have you already passed the date your original claim runs out then?

Thanks Margaret, As be it my award in the support group ends on 18/12/2016. I was just wondering when I receive the new esa50, either before the review date or after.

However, I have already completed mine via the internet that I downloaded from the website, plus loads ofa additional information about my conditions etc.

As you said that the system is bizarre, also you maybe correct that new claims are priorities over existing ones.

I have just come across this from the *Child Action Poverty Group website that you may find useful? I have pasted you the link to the website below:

*You must be given at least 4 weeks to return the ESA50, and at least a further week following a second repeat request. If you fail to complete and return the questionnaire without good cause, you are treated as not having LCW and cannot get ESA.1

Thank you for this information. I do have all thats needed for when Maximus do send an ESA50, As be it I have already completed everything inc extra information. The ESA50 was downloaded from the Gov website. Bye for now.
