I didn't know either until I came on here. Now I've had IBS for perhaps 25 years? Does that mean the fibro has been there as long as well, lurking and undiagnosed, or can they both be linked, but start up years apart I wonder?
When it comes to foods and IBS the main division seems to be between those who get it from processed foods and need lots of fibre, and those who can't eat fibre as it makes them worse. I'm one of the ones that can eat only a tiny amount of fibre, but how followed his doctors advice to eat plenty of fruit and veg, but it nearly killed me and I still bear the grudge...
Good luck Marielena2 with finding out what foods make IBS worse and which help a little. It can take a long while to work it out, as it seems to be little different for all of us, but it really is well worth doing as it can make a big difference, or at least it has for me.
I want to genuinely and sincerely wish you all the best of luck
