I've been in the WRAG income related since early 2009, I've just left it as it is cos I was being assessed every 6 months at one point but they haven't sent me to atos in 4 years..
My job centre advisor is a rock and asks me to update evidence but I havent cos I didn't want to rock the boat..
I now have a social worker and with her help I've been awarded pip of enhanced care and standard mobility and I could use the same paperwork ie OT assessment, letters of support and medical evidence (11 in total) but is it worth fighting to change this...what do you all think?

I am not exactly what your question is. Are you asking about appealing your PIP or your ESA?
If it's with regard to your PIP there are certain circumstances under which if you Appeal your decision you could be at risk of losing everything that you have already been awarded.
As our Benefits Adviser is away at the moment, if I were you I would go and get some professional advice from the CAB.
Huh?? Trying to explain that cos I got the pip and its recent and quite a high award, that Is it a good idea to send same evidence to pip people..been in WRAG since 2009 but not sure if it's worth trying to change it as I don't want to be put on JSA ..can having a good pip award help the ESA front?
More than happy with pip award, went from nothing twice to standard care (that was after a 73 week battle) to what I've got now..
Sorry I should have been clearer am shattered today x
They say the two are totally separate a case of left hand dose not know what the other is doing but what have you go to loose I have been told the don't take doctor letters into account some one may correct me on that
Thanks for your response I will save all my paperwork now.
Hi- all my day to day pains, problems, hangups, are listed on a word document as I am sure we all get reassessed at some point and I am keeping it like a diary in a word document so that I can print it out and encl or take it with me, I did this at my first assessment for PIP to reassure the "examiner" I had a lot of fibro fog/ cog. impairment and struggled with paperwork and reading long paragraphs or letters, also comprehending some questions especially if it meant going back into medical history, medications, all these things caused stress and made me tongue tied on replying correctly.. I strongly recommend this so that if your "request to be seen" it short notice you can just print out your document..
I,ve not done WRAG but I have a Welfare Rights Officer locally helping me.
I am so genuinely delighted to read that you got such a good PIP award. It may well be worth appealing your ESA award with your evidence based on your PIP claim, but please remember that it can work both ways as they can take monies off you as well? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
